Cookie Policy

1. What Is a Cookie

Cookies are small information files placed in your browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) when you visit our website. They do not harm your computer and are not viruses. We use them to keep you signed in, make the Site easier to use, remember your preferences and, with your permission, provide content relevant to you.

Information such as IP addresses, device and browser details, session information and site usage data may also be processed through Cookies. Where this information can be associated with an identified or identifiable User, it constitutes personal data.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

Our website uses the following types of Cookies:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for our website to perform its essential functions.
  • Functional Cookies: Allow us to remember user settings, such as language preferences.
  • Performance Cookies: Analyse website traffic and show which pages are visited most frequently.
  • Targeting/Advertising Cookies: Help us provide content and advertisements relevant to your interests.

Where personal data are processed through non-essential Cookies, those data are processed in accordance with the applicable personal data protection legislation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Where required, such Cookies are used in accordance with the User's preferences or consent.

3. How Cookies Are Used

Cookies enable us to:

  • Maintain your session.
  • Remember your shopping cart and transaction history.
  • Improve your interaction with service providers.
  • Analyse our website more effectively and provide personalised content.
  • Help ensure Site security and detect and prevent fraud or unauthorised transactions.

Personal data obtained through Cookies are used only insofar as they are relevant and necessary for the purposes for which they are processed, and are not retained for longer than those purposes require. Where applicable legislation provides for a longer retention period, or retention is necessary to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend a right, the relevant data may be retained for that period.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Cookies placed by service providers such as Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook Pixel) may also be used. These services may involve the processing of data such as IP addresses, device and browser details, online identifiers and Site usage/interaction information. Where this information can be associated with an identified or identifiable User, it constitutes personal data.

Where third-party service providers are located outside the TRNC, or personal data obtained through Cookies are processed or stored on servers outside the TRNC, those operations are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 89/2007 governing transfers of personal data to other countries and the relevant secondary legislation. Where necessary, the applicable permission and/or licensing procedures are completed.

Using third-party service providers does not relieve the Site of its legal obligations arising from its own personal data processing activities. The independent data processing activities of the relevant service providers may be subject to their own privacy and cookie policies.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

Through the "Cookie Preferences Panel" displayed when you first visit our website, you can:

  • Select "Accept" or "Reject" for non-essential Cookies.
  • Make choices by category under "Manage Preferences".

You may also change your permissions at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" button at the bottom of our Site.

For Cookies used on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw your consent or change your preferences at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You can also block Cookies entirely through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Other Site Data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy and Security
  • Safari: Settings > Privacy
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions

Please note that disabling necessary Cookies may prevent certain parts of our website from functioning properly.

Choices made through Cookie preferences may not directly control the independent data processing activities that third-party services used by the Site carry out on their own platforms or other websites.

6. Changes to This Cookie Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes take effect on the date they are published on our website. Users will also be separately notified of significant updates.

Where a change significantly affects the User in relation to the purpose or scope of personal data processing through Cookies, or the transfer of such data to third parties or outside the TRNC, the necessary information will be provided in accordance with applicable TRNC personal data protection legislation and the User's consent will be obtained where required.
